Additional Information:
Coláiste Muire Máthair is a catholic co-educational secondary school.
This is a permanent post comprising of 32 hours per week. All applicants must provide up-to-date Garda Vetting. All hours and sanctions of post are subject to DES approval. Interviews are likely to be scheduled for the week beginning the 4th of November.
Minimum required standard of education for appointment to an SNA post is: a QQI level 3 major qualification on the national framework of qualifications or a minimum of three Grade Ds in the Junior Certificate or equivalent.
Key Competencies
Relevant experience of working with post-primary students with complex care needs, communication difficulties, autism, diabetes, epilepsy, emotional and behaviour difficulties, physical disabilities and working with a variety of care needs is essential.
The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate a willingness to engage in further relevant professional development.
First Aid qualifications are desirable.
