Additional Information:
Scoil Naomh Cianain is a vertical co-educational school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Meath, Dr. Tom Deenihan. The school seeks to appoint a Teaching Principal beginning on the 30th of September, 2024.

The present teaching staff comprises 1 Teaching Principal, 3 Class Teachers and 1 SET.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills that are required to lead and maintain a happy, active, and progressive school community. A commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school is essential. Likewise, fostering links with the wider community is desirable.

This school always strives to be a child-centred, happy and safe environment for all its pupils to learn and develop to the best of their strengths and abilities. In addition to high academic expectations, pupils are provided with opportunities to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

Candidates should have current and continuing Teaching Council registration and show evidence of, and a commitment to ongoing Professional Development. They must have in-depth knowledge and experience in leading special education provision. Candidates should be committed to fostering the involvement of parents within the school community, as well as a commitment to inclusion and diversity.

The appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
