An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This post is for a standard SNA post (full time hours 9:00am - 3:15pm).

The following requirements are desirable:
- Minimum qualifications as per DES Circular 44/2014
- Other relevant qualifications in the area of special educational needs (SNA Level 6 desirable)
- Practical experience with the management of challenging behaviour and promotion of positive
behaviour strategies.
- Knowledge and experience of supporting children with autism
- Training in first aid
- TUSLA Children First E-Learning Certificate (please include in application)

The position is subject to satisfactory Garda vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, work well as part of a
team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
