An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Stonetown National School is a rural school with two mainstream class teachers and a shared SEN teacher.
We are recruiting for a Specific Purpose Contract with initial duties in SET until 23rd June 2023 to cover a continuous period of parents leave and parental leave. Experience working in SET is preferable.
We will be the base school for the SEN post (22 ½ hrs a week) with the remaining 2.5 hours allocated to Dún Dealgan National School
We have clustered the hours to minimise disruption to both schools and ensure we have a full-time position.
The successful candidate will work within the needs of both schools.
Appointments will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references.
